Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin and the Governor of Bangkok, Chadchart Sittipunt, recently discussed plans for Bangkok's development. The Bangkok governor's intentions were supported by the Prime Minister as they talked about challenges being handled by the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration. The PM and the governor came to an agreement on a plan to form a small committee of 6-7 people to direct the development of the nation's capital through policies, making Bangkok a more livable city.The PM declared that through the development committee that has been suggested, the government will support the governor of Bangkok. The subject of tourist fraud, including illegal tour guides and taxis, as well as lingering problems with the city's Green Lines metro, were also discussed by the two officials.
