A Telenor Asia survey has shown that 86% of Thais spend a substantial amount of time on mobile devices every day, making it the second most connected nation in Southeast Asia. 93% of Thais use their phones for banking and investing, demonstrating the widespread use of mobile technology in their financial management. With expectations of growing usage of generative AI and a need for more employer-provided training in this area, the study, which surveyed over 8,000 workers across the region, shows a rapid acceptance of artificial intelligence (AI) in Thai workplaces.
