Thai airports reduce airline fees

Sirote Duangratana, Executive Vice President of the Airport of Thailand (AOT), announced that the AOT will be lowering its prices for relevant flights. These fees include jetbridge, aircraft parking, and landing and takeoff expenses. The reduced fees will be in effect from now until 31 March 2024. This action would contribute to the anticipated rise in foreign tourists. Around 25% of all flight slots at six AOT-operated airports are still open for new flights, according to the executive vice president of AOT. This is especially true outside of the three rush hour windows, which are from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., and 2 a.m. to 5 p.m. The airport operator believes that this promotion will result in a 20% increase in both flights and passengers.
