A delegation from the Voice of Vietnam (VOV), Socialist Republic of Vietnam, paid a visit to the Public Relations Department (PRD) in Bangkok between 26-30 March 2012. The trip was under the Media Practitioners Exchange Programme and was hosted by the Thai Government Public Relations Department (PRD). The project aimed to exchange Information officers and media personnel in order to exchange views and experience as well as to produce news and special reports for this year’s activities under the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Public Relations Department, the Government of the Kingdom of Thailand and the Voice of Vietnam, Socialist Republic of Vietnam on Cooperation in the Field of Information and Broadcasting.

The 56th Bureau meeting of the Intergovernmental Council of the International Program for the Development of Communication (IPDC ) has approved to finance 1,721,600 US dollars to implement 83 media development projects worldwide.

A fifteen-member delegation from the Office of the Permanent Secretary of the Prime Minister’s Office, and the Public Relations Department (PRD), led by H.E. Mr. Anek Permvongseni, Deputy Permanent Secretary, paid an official visit to Brunei Darussalam from 26-29 Septemner 2011 for the 10th Thai-Brunei Joint Technical Committee Meeting (JTC) hosted by Radio and Television Brunei (RTB).

The 3rd Joint Technical Committee Meeting under the minutes of discussion between the Public Relations Department (PRD) and the Voice of Vietnam (VOV) on cooperation in information and broadcasting was held in Hanoi, Vietnam on 9 August 2011.
