Preventive Measures Put in Place to Ensure the Normal Way of Life for the Public as Protests Loom

The Government has reaffirmed that it would do its utmost to maintain peace and order, to ensure the public’s ability to carry out their normal daily routine as much as possible, as well as to ensure safety of the public, including that of the demonstrators. The reaffirmation was made in view of the anti-government rallies, led by the United Front for Democracy against Dictatorship, starting from March 12.

Gathering of World Parliamentarians in Thailand for the 122nd Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union

The National Assembly of Thailand will host the 122nd Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, known in short as IPU, at the Centara Bangkok Convention Center at Central World in Bangkok from March 27 to April 1. The meeting will be held in conjunction with the Spring Session of the Association of Secretaries General of Parliaments.

Internal Security Act Enforced in Bangkok and Nearby Provinces
