The Government is proceeding with its plan to invite prominent international figures to attend a special lecture series in Bangkok at which they will be able to share their international-reconciliation experience with the Thai people.
Realizing that religion is the major moral force of the Thai community, the Ministry of Culture is working with the Southern Border Administrative Center in launching a project to use religious dimension to help build peace in the southern border provinces.
The Cabinet, during its meeting on 13 August 2013, acknowledged the organizing of a special event in Bangkok at which prominent international figures will be able to share their international-reconciliation experience. At the same meeting, the Cabinet approved two memorandums of understanding (MOU) to be signed between Thailand and Nigeria.
