Model for an Eco Energy Town in Thailand

The Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) has adopted clean coal technology at its Mae Moh Power Plant in Mae Moh district, Lampang province. This lignite-fired power plant is the largest of its kind in Thailand and it plays an important role in the stability of the country’s electricity system.
