Thailand will host the first Mekong River Commission Summit in Hua Hin, Prachuap Khiri Khan province, on April 4 and 5. The Cabinet has given the green light to the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment to organize the summit, in cooperation with the Mekong River Commission Secretariat.

A Hotline to Receive Complaints and Questions on the ASEAN Free Trade Agreement
Starting on January 8, the Ministry of Commerce has opened a hotline to receive complaints and questions on the ASEAN Free Trade Agreement (AFTA), which was fully implemented by six ASEAN members, namely Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, and Thailand, on 1 January 2010.
