The 15th ASEAN Summit in Thailand Highlights Regional Connectivity

Thailand is welcoming about 3,000 delegates and members of the press attending the 15th ASEAN Summit and Related Summits, which officially begin on 23 October 2009 in Cha-am and Hua Hin, Phetchaburi and Prachuap Khiri Khan provinces. “Enhancing connectivity, empowering peoples” serves as an over-arching theme of all meetings – ASEAN, ASEAN+1, ASEAN+3, and the East Asia Summit.

Thailand Launches New Television Channel on ASEAN

Thailand will begin to operate a new television channel on ASEAN, which will air around the clock. The launching of TV ASEAN will take place on 23 October 2009, coinciding with the 15th ASEAN Summits and Related Summits in Cha-am and Hua Hin.
