Thailand, as the Chair of ASEAN, is preparing to host the 15th ASEAN Summit and Related Summits, scheduled for October 23-25 this year, at the beach resort town of Hua-Hin and Cha-Am in Prachuap Khiri Khan province.

The ASEAN Foreign Ministers, during the ongoing 42nd ASEAN Ministerial Meeting in Phuket, southern Thailand, support the draft terms of reference (TOR) for the ASEAN human rights body, for which they proposed the name “ASEAN Inter-Governmental Commission on Human Rights.”
