ASEAN+3 Finance Ministers and Senior Officials Hammer Out Measures to Ease Impacts from Global Financial Crisis
Senior officials from finance ministries and central banks of ASEAN+3 met in Pattaya, Thailand, prior to the ASEAN+3 Finance Ministers Meeting on April 9. They were joined by representatives of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in the discussion on the overall global economy which was likely to deteriorate further, with consequences for ASEAN countries, including Thailand.

Results of the London Summit to be Brought up at ASEAN+3 and ASEAN+6 Summits in Pattaya
Results of the G20 Summit, also known as the London Summit, will be raised for discussion at the ASEAN Plus Three and the ASEAN Plus Six summits, to be held in Pattaya in the eastern province of Chon Buri, on April 10-12.

Health and Hygiene of Participants at ASEAN Summits Are Well Provided for
A total of 112 medical teams have been prepared for the 14th ASEAN Summit and Related Summits to be held in Pattaya, Thailand, on 10-12 April 2009. Food safety and hygiene at the summit venue and leaders’ accommodations are monitored around the clock, with three helicopters on standby to provide emergency medical evacuation service for participants.
