The Peninsula, Bangkok, has been voted Best City Hotel in Asia, and listed in seventh position in the World's Best Hotels this year by readers of Travel+Leisure magazine.

Thailand Travel Mart 2010 Plus Is Set for 8-10 September 2010

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has confirmed that the Thailand Travel Mart Plus Amazing Gateway to the Greater Mekong Subregion (TTM+ 2010) will be held from 8 - 10 September 2010, at the IMPACT Convention Center (Hall 9), Muang Thong Thani.

Central Bank Raises Policy Interest Rate By 0.25 Per Cent

Bank of Thailand's Monetary Policy Committee has decided to raise the policy interest rate by 0.25 per cent per annum, from 1.50 to 1.75 per cent per annum, citing the reason that the Thai economy expanded faster than expected in the second quarter.
