The Technique of Making Carp Mobiles

The technique of plaiting and decorating a carp mobile is quite simple. The plaiting starts with a wire serving as a hook at the head of the carp. Down from the hook is a tiny marquee or krachome woven with palm leaves into 6-8 edged stars. At the edge of each ray is a bunch of flowers decorated with Bo leaf-shaped palms.

Ploughing Ceremony – A Significant Event for Farmers

The 122nd Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union and Related Meetings

The 122nd Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) and the Spring Session of the Association of Secretaries General of Parliament (ASGP) 2010 will be held from 27th March to 1st April 2010 at Centara Grand and Bangkok Convention Center at Central World, Bangkok. Representatives from 153 member countries and eight associate members from international organizations, totaling more than 2,500 participants, will attend the assembly.
