Thailand hosted the 1st Thai-Brunei Preparatory Meeting for Implementation of the Projects under the MOU 2014

The Representatives from the Prime Minister’s Office, Radio Television and Information Department of Information of Brunei Darussalam gathered in Bangkok for the 1st Thai-Brunei Preparatory Meeting for Implementation of the Projects under the MOU 2014 at the Government of Public Relations Department (PRD), Bangkok, Thailand from 28 to 30 April, 2014.

Thailand and Cambodia’s cooperation in information and broadcasting: a channel of official news & information for both countries

The move followed the 6th Joint Technical Committee Meeting between Thailand and Cambodia which took place in the Cambodian coastal province of Preah Sihanouk on 12 September 2013. The activity was in line with the two countries’ Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the Field of Information and Broadcasting signed 8 years ago. The cooperation covers exchanges of radio and television news and programs, online content, production teams and executives.

Thai-Brunei JTC meeting agreed to enhance quality contents through multi-platforms for broadcast and information cooperation

The Thai-Brunei bilateral cooperation in the field of broadcast and information was further strengthened following the 12th Joint Technical Committee Meeting in Bangkok. The meeting took place during July 4-5 2013. The Thai delegation was headed by Permanent Secretary to the Prime Minister’s Office Professor Tongthong Chandransu, while the Brunei delegates were headed by Permanent Secretary to the Prime Minister’s Office Haji Mahrub Haji Murni.

Media members from VOV visited Thailand under the Media Practitioners Exchange Programme with the Thai Government’s Public Relations Department

A media team from the Voice of Vietnam (VOV), Socialist Republic of Vietnam, paid a visit to the Public Relations Department (PRD) in Thailand between 18-23 March 2013. The working visit was under the Media Practitioners Exchange Programme and was hosted by the Thai Government’s Public Relations Department (PRD). The project aimed to exchange Information officers and media personnel in order to exchange their views and experience as well as to produce news, special reports and documentary programmes for this second year’s activities under the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Public Relations Department, the Government of the Kingdom of Thailand and the Voice of Vietnam, Socialist Republic of Vietnam on Cooperation in the Field of Information and Broadcasting.

The 5th Thailand-Vietnam Joint Technical Committee Meeting serves the convergent media environment

A seven-member delegation from the Thai Government’s Public Relations Department (PRD), led by Ms. Ampawan Charoenkul, Deputy Director-General, paid an official visit to Hanoi, the Social Republic of Vietnam, from 4-8 March 2013 for the 5th Thai-Vietnamese Joint Technical Committee Meeting (JTC) hosted by the Voice of Vietnam (VOV).
