Media members from VOV visited Thailand under the Media Practitioners Exchange Programme with the Thai Government’s Public Relations Department
A media team from the Voice of Vietnam (VOV), Socialist Republic of Vietnam, paid a visit to the Public Relations Department (PRD) in Thailand between 18-23 March 2013. The working visit was under the Media Practitioners Exchange Programme and was hosted by the Thai Government’s Public Relations Department (PRD). The project aimed to exchange Information officers and media personnel in order to exchange their views and experience as well as to produce news, special reports and documentary programmes for this second year’s activities under the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Public Relations Department, the Government of the Kingdom of Thailand and the Voice of Vietnam, Socialist Republic of Vietnam on Cooperation in the Field of Information and Broadcasting.

The 5th Thailand-Vietnam Joint Technical Committee Meeting serves the convergent media environment
A seven-member delegation from the Thai Government’s Public Relations Department (PRD), led by Ms. Ampawan Charoenkul, Deputy Director-General, paid an official visit to Hanoi, the Social Republic of Vietnam, from 4-8 March 2013 for the 5th Thai-Vietnamese Joint Technical Committee Meeting (JTC) hosted by the Voice of Vietnam (VOV).

NBT joins hands with ABU to arrange training workshop on radio content
Some 40 radio personnel under the National Broadcasting Services of Thailand (NBT) attended the four-day workshop on quality radio programs. The event, held on 12-15 February 2013, was hosted by the Government Public Relations Department (PRD, which oversees NBT) and the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU).

VNA delegation exchanges media and communication experience with Thai Public Relations Department
Communication strategies, convergent media, and human resources development to enhance professionalism were among the top subjects shared and discussed during a visit by the delegation from the Vietnam News Agency (VNA) to the Thai Public Relations Department (PRD) on 21 December 2012. This was part of the VNA visit to Thailand that took place on 18-22 December 2012.
