Thailand and Cambodia Move to Deepen Their Understanding through Media Cooperation

Thailand and Cambodia have moved to deepen their understanding and foster better media cooperation, following recent visits to Thailand by Cambodian Minister of Information Khieu Kanharith and a Cambodian media delegation.

Thai – Brunei MOU On Cooperation in the Field of Information and Broadcasting

Thailand and Brunei Darussalam have enjoyed cordial relations which have progressed steadily at bilateral, regional, and international levels. Since the establishment of diplomatic ties in 1983, the two countries have intensified their relations over the years through cooperation in many areas. The Royal Families of both countries have a close relationship and have exchanged visits on various occasions. Their bonds of amity give bilateral relations an enduring strength.

PRD and ANTARA Begin Media Cooperation

Thailand and Indonesia are moving closer together in terms of media cooperation. They discussed areas of their networking and information sharing when Minister to the Prime Minister’s Office Ongart Klampaiboon led a group to visit ANTARA, the official news agency of Indonesia, on 3 August 2010.

Minister Ongart Klampaiboon and PRD Officials Visit the ASEAN Secretariat and ERIA

Minister to the Prime Minister’s Office Ongart Klampaiboon led a group of senior officials from the Government Public Relations Department (PRD) and journalists from private media organizations to visit the ASEAN Secretariat in Jakarta, Indonesia, on 2 August 2010.
