Mrs.Kobkarn Wattanavrangkul, Minister of Tourism and Sport, met representatives from Agoda, a website and mobile application for online travel booking, to reconsider its price rate and to discuss about covering unregistered hotels in its sale network. The Department of Health, Ministry of Public Health, cautions people to beware of summer heat dangers that may cause injury to the conjunctiva of the eye, as well as damage to the skin from sunburn, and even death from heat stroke. It is suggested that everyone should avoid being outdoors in the heat for a long time, or they should wear a hat, use an umbrella, or apply sunscreen. People who face the most risk from hot weather include the elderly, people with medical problems, agriculturists, builders, traffic police, pregnant women, people who exercise outdoors, and tourists.
