New Year Cards for 2010 Illustrating Thailand’s National Symbols (02/11/2009)

A set of New Year cards for 2010 illustrating three official national symbols of Thailand is now available. The cards are produced by the Office of the Permanent Secretary of the Prime Minister’s Office in order to make the national symbols better known both in Thailand and abroad.


The three official national symbols of Thailand include Chang Thai, the Thai elephant, Dok Ratchapruek, Cassia fistula Linn., or the Golden Shower flower, and Sala Thai, or the Thai pavilion.

The set of the cards is valued at 120 baht. Each set consists of three types and each type has four copies, with envelops and stickers featuring the logo of the Prime Minister’s Office.
