The Peninsula, Bangkok, has been voted Best City Hotel in Asia, and listed in seventh position in the World's Best Hotels this year by readers of Travel+Leisure magazine.

Last year, the hotel was voted the sixth Best City Hotel in Asia, and 66th in the world.

The hotel's general manager, Nicolas Beliard, said the award reflected guests' appreciation of the standards set by Peninsula Hotels, adding that this valuable recognition will encourage hotel staff to continue to provide the best experience possible for their guests and will strengthen their commitment to extending excellent personalised service coupled with the unique and gracious Thai hospitality.
