Government Boosting Tourism with Disaster Prevention Plans and Visa Exemption (29/08/2012)

A master plan has been mapped out for disaster prevention and mitigation to promote safe travel in Thailand. The Cabinet, during a meeting in August 2012, gave the green light to the master plan and also agreed to allow visitors seeking medical services to stay in Thailand for up to 90 days without visas.
