According to the Support Arts and Crafts International Center of Thailand (SACICT), Thailand’s handicraft exports in 2023 recorded growth to 340,820 million baht (US$9.3 billion). The five products with the highest export value were gold ornaments, with a value of 91,161 million baht ($2.5 billion), silverware ($1.5 billion), furniture and parts ($1.3 billion), travel equipment ($626 million), and textiles ($482 million).
The United States is the biggest export market for handicraft products, with a value of 94,203 million baht ($2.6 billion), followed by Hong Kong ($729 million), Japan ($578 million), Germany ($549 million), and the United Kingdom ($445 million).
The SACICT market channels are available both online via the application SACICT Shop and offline, such as the One Tambon One Product (OTOP) trade shows and fairs.
