Thailand ranked as fourth world’s most beautiful country

Thailand has recently been recognized as the fourth most beautiful country in the world, as announced by the website “U.S. News and World Report” and a post from the “World of Statistics” on the X platform. It follows New Zealand, Greece, and Italy, which take the first three places, respectively, from the total of 87 nations. The ranking was based on the views of global survey respondents, who considered the scenic, picturesque qualities of the countries they had visited.

The U.S. News and World Report noted this about Thailand: “Buddha figures are ever-present in the ‘land of smiles,’ where bustling, modern cities are juxtaposed with ancient ruins, glistening beaches, and gilded temples. The nation is home to the acclaimed Thai massage and cuisine that is known to balance sweet, sour, salty, bitter, and spicy flavors.”

So far, in just the first half of 2024, Thailand has gained a number of prominent distinctions in terms of tourism from major agencies. For example, Thailand was ranked as number one for the world’s best country to visit in one’s lifetime by CEOWORLD magazine; Bangkok won the DestinAsian Readers’ Choice Award for the “Best City” in the Asia-Pacific region; and Maya Bay achieved the fifth place in the Global Beach Awards by the website BeachAtlas.
