September 2024 is another vibrant month with a variety of festivals and events. It includes the light phenomenon at Phanom Rung Historical Park and the unique Buddhist tradition known as the “Um Phra Dam Nam” ceremony, in which villagers dive into the Pa Sak River while holding Buddha images, as well as many music and art events, listed below:
- Wet Series Music Festival 2024, on 6-7 September 2024, at Singha Park in Chiang Rai Province;
- GMS Art Fest 2024, an art market and workshop, on 7 September, at Khemmarat Cultural Street in Ubon Ratchathani;
- Phanom Rung Light Phenomenon (Sunrise), on 8-10 September, at Phanom Rung Historical Park in Buri Ram;
- Night at the Museum, a night museum and music in the garden, on 20-21 September, at Khon Kaen National Museum in Khon Kaen;
- Reversed Rain The Concert, Krabi’s local music group, Rhythm of The Andaman, and other artists perform on 20 September, at the Maharat Theater in Krabi;
- Um Phra Dam Nam Festival 2024, from 27 September to 6 October, at Phetchabun Intrachai Archeological Hall in Phetchabun.
