K-pop band SEVENTEEN shoots new album in Thailand

The K-pop boy group SEVENTEEN from South Korea has recently released its video promoting their new album “Spill the Feels: Speak Up” on the YouTube platform channel HYBE LABELS. The footage displays various locations in Bangkok and its outskirts. The production team from South Korea of over 66 people and Thailand’s team of over 250 people participated in the video production.

Thailand’s Film Office listed four locations for filming the video promoting the album, listed below:
- Oscar Theater in Bangkok – This abandoned theatre has become a famous spot for filming, including the MV for Lisa’s “Rockstar”;
- Bangkok Yacht Club Condominium by the Chaophraya River – The location offers a brilliantly illuminated cityscape of Bangkok;
- Krung Thep Aphiwat Central Terminal (also known as Bangsue Grand Station) – The team shot at the building exterior, showing the scene of the railway and the grandeur of the terminal;
- Pace Studio in Samut Sakhon Province – The team mocked up an interior of the train in this spacious for filming.

Thailand has long been the preferred destination for international filming thanks to the variety of locations, the unique culture, the modern equipment available, and the Thai staff who have extensive experience with world-class filming productions. The music video for “Spill the Feels” will be released on 14 October 2024.
