The general public, both Thais and foreigners, is invited to participate in the Loy Krathong festival, organized by the Government’s Public Relations Department (PRD), from 13 to 15 November 2024, from 15.30 hr onwards, at the PRD headquarters on Rama VI Road in Bangkok. This year’s festivities aim to promote Thai traditions, safety celebrations, and environmental conservation.

The event will feature more than 200 booths selling food, beverages, and other goods, including products from the One Tambon One Product (OTOP) program and Thong Fah (Blue Flag) shops selling government-subsidized goods. In addition, musical performances and decorative lighting will also enliven the event.

Visitors are also encouraged to use krathong (floating baskets) made from eco-friendly materials.
