Prem Pracha Vana Rak Park is officially open as the latest green landmark of Bangkok. The park, a formerly unused 10-rai area along Kamphaeng Phet 6 Road near Khlong Prem Prachakorn in Lak Si district, was transformed into a new public green space. The project was implemented under the royal policies of His Majesty the King, focusing on improving the environment, rejuvenating water sources, and developing the quality of life for citizens. These efforts involve collaboration across government agencies and public participation.
The park offers multiple benefits for Bangkok residents, providing a tranquil space for leisure, an educational site for cultural and environmental learning, and a model for sustainable urban planning. The project corresponds the King’s vision of creating a greener and more harmonious urban environment, contributing to an improved quality of life and long-term environmental conservation for future generations.
On 10 December 2024, Their Majesties the King and Queen presided over the opening ceremony of the Prem Pracha Vana Rak Park. The park represents the King’s commitment to community development and environmental preservation.
