According to the Department of Trade Negotiations’ statistics for the first ten months of 2024 (January-October), Thailand’s exports of dairy products increased by 11.3% year on year, to US$603.6 million. The exports to Free Trade Agreement (FTA) partners recorded US$569.3 million (94.3% of all dairy product exports), making it ASEAN’s largest exporter of dairy products. Thailand also ranked seventh among the world’s dairy product exporters.
Prominent products were UHT milk, drinking yogurt and yogurt, and condensed milk.
These exports utilized the benefits of the FTAs with 14 partners and territories, including ASEAN, China, Australia, New Zealand, Chile, and Hong Kong.
