The Department of Thai Traditional and Alternative Medicine (DTAM) has collaborated with Thai researchers to develop an innovative herbal patch for psoriasis patients. The patch has recently earned international recognition, as it won a silver medal at the International Trade Fair – Ideas, Inventions, and New Products (iENA 2024) in Nuremberg, Germany. It also received a special award from the China Association of Inventions.
The herbal patch, adapting the Karun Osot formula, combines cannabidiol extracts. By using transdermal delivery, the patch offers an effective treatment for mild to moderate psoriasis symptoms.
For further information, psoriasis patients are encouraged to consult Thai traditional medicine practitioners at hospitals and clinics nationwide, or they may call the DTAM at +662 149 5678.
