Red Line trains become pet-friendly on weekends starting 4 January 2025

A new pet-friendly service is being launched in collaboration with Nida Poll, and was announced as a New Year's gift, the State Railway of Thailand said on its Facebook page.

The rules for travelling with a pets are as follows:
- Service is available only on Saturdays and Sundays;
- Pets allowed are dogs and cats only;
- Each passenger is limited to one pet;
- Pets must be kept in secure and properly sized carriers as specified;
- Passengers must present pet identification documents or a vaccination certificate before boarding;
- Pets may travel only in designated carriages.
