Prime Minister of the Lao PDR Sonexay Siphandone and Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra have unveiled a commemorative logo for the 75th anniversary of Thai-Lao diplomatic relations during his official visit to Thailand on 20 February 2025.

The gold-toned design of the logo features traditional Thai and Laotian temple elements, including Wat Phra That Sri Song Rak and Vientiane’s Pha That Luang, with the number 75 centrally positioned and adorned with Thailand’s Ratchaphruek and the Laotian Dok Champa flowers, surrounded by the national flags arranged in a heart shape.

For this special occasion, Thailand and Lao PDR will organize over 20 activities throughout the year. Thailand agreed to provide 75 scholarships to help develop human resources of the Lao PDR and would continue to support Laos in public health and medical personnel development.
