Thailand proudly hosted the 6th BIMSTEC Summit on 4 April 2025 in Bangkok, chaired by PM Paetongtarn Shinawatra. Under the theme “Prosperous, Resilient, and Open BIMSTEC” (PRO BIMSTEC), leaders focused on economic integration, connectivity, and disaster response.

 Adoption of the BIMSTEC Bangkok Vision 2030 for stronger regional growth
 Agreements on trade, maritime transport, and disaster response
 Strengthened connectivity & security for a more integrated BIMSTEC
