Thailand is preparing to test the nationwide Cell Broadcast emergency alert system that sends critical warning messages directly to mobile phones throughout the country.

Tests will be conducted on 2, 7, and 13 May 2025, with coverage expanding across three different geographic levels from provincial buildings to entire regions.

When tested, your phone will emit an attention-grabbing alert sound accompanied by an emergency notification message on your screen.

Please remember this is only a system test—no action is required and there is no cause for concern.
