Two of Thailand’s beaches have been ranked among the top ten most photogenic beaches in the world on Instagram, according to a recent study by Heepsy.

Maya Bay, located in Krabi Province, has been recognized as the most photogenic beach in the world, with over 2.2 million hashtags. Despite being only a 250-meter-long beach, Maya Bay attracts over 2.2 million visitors annually, resulting in the highest number of Instagram posts for a beach globally.

Meanwhile, Koh Tao in Surat Thani Province, takes the ninth place on the list. The island is known as one of the world’s best destinations for diving and snorkeling. Thanks to its vibrant coral reefs, diverse marine life, calm beach, and turquoise water, Koh Tao offers an ideal backdrop for photographers and social media creators.

The list of ten most photogenic beaches in the world comprises Maya Bay (Thailand), Hidden Beach (Mexico), Bondi Beach (Australia), Copacabana Beach (Brazil), Surfers Paradise (Australia), Bora Bora (French Polynesia), Waikiki Beach (USA), Praia do Sancho (Brazil), Koh Tao (Thailand), and Ipanema Beach (Brazil).
