The Thai government has officially launched “Domestic Power 2024–2025,” a comprehensive sports development program aimed at unlocking the potential of young athletes and propelling them onto the global stage. Eight key sports—football, futsal, volleyball, badminton, taekwondo, golf, esports, and Muay Thai—have been selected as initial focus areas.

The government emphasized the world-class talent of Thai youth and reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening the entire sports ecosystem—from advanced technology and sports science to nationwide collaboration. The initiative seeks to inspire the next generation, build sustainable sports careers, and position Thailand as a regional hub for athletics and soft power on the world stage.
