The Commander of the 2nd Army Area, Lieutenant General Boonsin Padklang, has invited the public to travel to archeological sites located along the border in Surin Province and to purchase local products from shops to promote tourism and support local communities.
The commander highlighted the Ta Muen Temple Complex Historical Park as a key destination. It includes Ta Muen Thom Temple, a beautiful stone castle reflecting ancient Hindu art and beliefs. Nearby is Ta Khwai Temple, a laterite stone castle located in Phanom Dong Rak District. The third temple, Ta Muen Tot Temple, is also situated in the Phanom Dong Rak mountain range. He reaffirmed that these three historical sites are all situated within Thai territory.
The Ta Muen Temple Complex Historical Park is open daily from 08.00 to 17.00 hr.
