The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), in cooperation with Beijing Eagle Fly Aviation Service, officially launched charter flights between Changsha and Bangkok. The flights operate four times a week—on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays—using an Airbus A320 aircraft with a capacity of 179 seats. The inaugural flight carried 156 passengers, achieving an 87% load factor, reflecting growing confidence among Chinese tourists in traveling to Thailand.
The launch attracted attention from major media outlets in Hunan Province, including Hunan TV, Xiaoxiang Morning Post, Tencent Hunan, and China Tourism News.
Throughout July and August 2025, TAT will continue working closely with Eagle Fly Aviation to promote summer travel from southern China, especially Hunan, focusing on experiences for families and young travelers, such as amusement parks, creative workshops, cultural learning activities, shopping, and wellness tourism.
