According to the Thailand Film Office (TFO), Alien: Earth, which began filming in Thailand last year, marks the highest investment in the history of foreign film production in Thailand. The project had 123 shooting days at various locations in Bangkok, Surat Thani, Samut Prakan, Krabi, and Phang Nga.

The series spent over 2.8 billion baht (85.4 million US dollars), hiring more than 1,600 Thai crew members across various departments, renting 13 studios and staying in over 20 hotels across the country.
