Thailand Boosts Mexican Tourism Marker via Tourism Campaign "Thailand Special Deal"

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has launched the tourism campaign "Thailand Special Deal" to expand Thai tourism to the Mexican market during the event "Thai Festival Mexico 2025," organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on 9-10 August 2025, coinciding with the celebration of the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Thailand and Mexico in 2025.

Targeting high-spending Mexican travelers, the TAT has partnered with Mexico’s leading department store, El Palacio de Hierro. The TAT offers El Palacio de Hierro's customers exclusive Thai tourism promotions, and it provides the latest Thai tourism updates for Mexican travel agents, operators, and media.

Over 60 top-spending customers and 30 travel agents attended the campaign-launching event and related activities.

Mexican travelers are the second-largest group of visitors to Thailand from Latin America, following Brazil. Between 1 January and 3 August 2025, Thailand welcomed 26,960 Mexican visitors, and TAT tourism projects are expected to attract 51,600 Mexican tourists in 2025.
