Minister of Tourism and Sports Sorawong Thienthong recently presided over the official launch of a new zipline attraction at Roi Et Tower in Roi Et Province. The ceremony was attended by the Governor of Roi Et, the President of the Provincial Administrative Organization, the Mayor of Roi Et Municipality, and other local leaders.
The new zipline brings an exciting adventure tourism element to Roi Et Tower, one of Northeast Thailand’s most iconic landmarks. Designed to attract young travelers and thrill-seekers, it adds to the tower’s rich mix of cultural, educational, and recreational experiences.
The project is a collaboration between Roi Et Provincial Administrative Organization and Roi Et Municipality, aiming to:
Boost local tourism and income for the community
Support local businesses, from hotels and restaurants to artisans
Preserve and promote Roi Et’s cultural identity while adding modern adventure fun
Minister Sorawong emphasized that this new attraction will not only drive economic benefits but also showcase Roi Et as a destination where tradition meets adventure.
