Gamescom 2025, the world’s largest event for digital games, was held on 20-24 August 2025, in Koelmmesse, Germany. Thailand, as Gamescom 2025’s partner country, established a “Thailand Pavilion,” opening opportunities for Thai game entrepreneurs to present Thai skills and Thai identity to gamers worldwide.

A Thai delegation, led by Jiraporn Sindhuprai, Minister Attached to the Prime Minister’s Office, along with Surapong Suebwonglee, Chair of the National Soft Power Development Committee, and representatives from the Department of International Trade Promotion, attended the event.

In 2024, over 335,000 individuals and more than 1,400 game companies participated in last year’s Gamescom. The participation of the Thailand Pavilion this year represents a significant milestone for Thai game developers on the global stage.

In addition, Thailand is going to host “Gamescom Asia X Thailand Game Show 2025” from 16 to 19 October 2025 at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center in Bangkok, featuring various activities to attract those in the game industry in Asia and worldwide.
