The journey began in Suphan Buri, recognized as a Creative City of Music, where local culture and music heritage have been transformed into immersive tourism experiences.
Through workshops and in-depth interviews with local partners — including the Provincial Cultural Office, Suphan Buri Chamber of Commerce, YEC Suphan Buri, U Thong Ancient City, National Museum, and community tourism groups — stakeholders joined forces to design distinctive travel routes that reflect Suphan Buri’s unique identity.
The highlight was the prototype route “Suphan Living Rhythm: Explore the City of Music”, which was chosen for Product Testing by tourism experts, KOLs, and influencers before its debut in the global market.
This initiative not only builds momentum for the local economy but also reinforces Thailand’s position in the global Creative Cities Network. Future plans extend to 7 other UNESCO Creative Cities in Thailand — Sukhothai, Chiang Rai, Chiang Mai, Phuket, Phetchaburi, and Bangkok — along with Nakhon Ratchasima, a province holding three prestigious UNESCO designations (World Heritage, Biosphere Reserve, and Geopark).
