The Ministry of Culture, through the National Culture Committee, has conferred the honorary title “Sirisinlapin – National Artist” upon Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Krom Phra Srisavangavadhana in the field of Visual Arts (Painting).

Each year, the title of National Artist is awarded to individuals whose artistic contributions are of great value to Thai society and the nation, across three categories: Visual Arts, Literature, and Performing Arts.

For 2024, there were 574 nominees in total, including one royal nomination. After careful consideration, the committee honored 11 awardees: one royal recipient and three honorees in Visual Arts; one honoree in Literature, and six honorees in Performing Arts, totaling one royal recipient and 10 distinguished artists.

Her Royal Highness’s exceptional talent and invaluable contributions in the field of visual arts and painting have been widely recognized in academic and artistic circles. She has also played a vital role in preserving and promoting the national identity with grace and distinction, an immeasurable patronage to the Thai cultural heritage.
