Mid-Autumn Night 2025 connects Thailand-China under the moon of friendship

On the evening of 6 October 2025, at One Bangkok, the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, through the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), hosted a moonlit celebration event titled "Amazing Thailand, Mid-Autumn Night 2025." The event marked the Moon Festival and celebrated the 50th anniversary of Thai-Chinese diplomatic relations. It also welcomed over 100 Chinese creators and KOLs (Key Opinion Leaders) who traveled to Thailand to create content showcasing Thai charm. The project aims to inspire and build traveler confidence in visiting Thailand.

The atmosphere was filled with the beauty of “The Moon of Friendship in the Garden,” a symbol of the bond between the two nations. The story of friendship was portrayed through various cultural activities, allowing creators to experience it firsthand and share it from a modern creative perspective through five key destinations: Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Pattaya, Phuket, and Samui.

This event is part of the Nihao Month project, with a goal of building trust in all aspects—safety, service standards, and travel experience quality. The TAT continues to drive forward the Nihao Month project to boost travel and position Thailand as a destination of friendship, culture, and memorable, high-quality experiences for every visitor.
