During the 32nd APEC Economic Leaders’ Week in Gyeongju, South Korea, on 30 October 2025, Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul held a series of bilateral meetings with key private sector representatives and leaders of major economies to promote economic cooperation and attract foreign investment to Thailand.
The key missions are as follows:
- The Prime Minister met with the chairman and CEO of SK Bioscience, a leading South Korean biotechnology company specializing in vaccine production. The discussion focused on enhancing economic and advanced technological collaboration in line with Thailand's goal of strengthening the capabilities of Thailand’s Government Pharmaceutical Organization's vaccine manufacturing plant. The initiative aims to ensure the availability of vaccines at affordable prices for all groups of people.
- Prime Minister Anutin met with representatives of the US-APEC Business Coalition to exchange views on trade, investment, technology, and cooperation between Thailand and the US within the APEC framework.
- Prime Minister Anutin attended the 2025 APEC CEO Summit, where he delivered a keynote address titled “Bridge, Business, Beyond.” His speech emphasized Thailand’s commitment to driving economic opportunities, fostering innovation, and strengthening regional connectivity.
- The Prime Minister also held bilateral meeting with leaders of APEC member economies:
- In his meeting with President Lee Jae Myung of South Korea, the discussion focused on enhancing bilateral relations and cooperation, particularly in combating online scams;
- During the meeting with Prime Minister Mark Carney of Canada, both leaders explored ways to deepen collaboration in the digital economy.
Through these missions, Prime Minister Anutin underscored Thailand’s readiness to serve as a key partner in trade, investment, and the development of future regional supply chains.
