Thai PM to Visit Singapore on 7 November 2025

Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul will pay an official visit to Singapore on 7 November 2025, at the invitation of Lawrence Wong, Prime Minister of Singapore. The visit aims to promote cooperation in various fields between the two countries and to participate in the SET Government Roadshow 2025.

This visit marks the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Thailand and Singapore. It also serves as a reciprocal visit following the Singaporean Prime Minister’s official visit to Thailand in November 2024.

During the visit, the prime ministers will hold bilateral talks, covering key issues such as food and energy security, digital and green economy development, public health and elderly care cooperation, and combating transnational crimes, particularly online scams.

The Prime Minister will also attend the SET Government Roadshow 2025, where he will deliver a keynote speech and meet leading investors. He will also meet with members of the Thai community, Thai workers, and Thai students in Singapore.

In addition, two documents are expected to be signed to expand collaboration in the economic and public health sectors:

- Memorandum of Cooperation (MOC) on Rice Trade between the Governments of Thailand and Singapore, to support food security;

- Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on Healthcare Leadership in Urban Ageing Care between Thailand’s Department of Medical Services and Singapore Health Services, to promote knowledge exchange and enhance the efficiency of care for the elderly.

These initiatives are expected to further strengthen Thailand–Singapore cooperation, contributing to tangible progress in both economic development and the quality of life of the people.
