The Special Warfare Command in Lopburi Province has opened its military site to welcome tourists, offering a beautiful scenic backdrop and local activities.
The area is spectacular, with a sunflower field covering more than 140 rai (approximately 55.35 acres), which is now fully in bloom. Surrounded by mountains, it is touted as the largest sunflower field open to the public within a military area in Thailand.
Activities at the site also include sightseeing rides through the sunflower fields, large decorative kite displays, and booths selling agricultural products and community goods made by local vendors and farmers. The sunflower field and activities at the Special Warfare Command will remain open until 10 January 2026, which coincides with National Children’s Day.
