Thailand will test its Cell Broadcast emergency alert system nationwide on January 20 at 2pm. Compatible phones (iOS 18+/Android 11+) will receive a test alert for 8 seconds. The message will clearly state it's only a test.

No action needed—alert disappears automatically. Don't panic!
