Thai exports in 2025 reach a recorf og US$339B, marking 12.9% growth

For the full year of 2025, Thailand’s exports grew by 12.9%, reaching a record 11.4 trillion baht (approximately 339.6 billion US dollars), according to a report from the Ministry of Commerce.

Exports in December 2025 were valued at 16.8% year-on-year, surging to 931 billion baht (or 28 billion US dollars), marking the 18th consecutive month of growth. The main drivers of exports remain electronics and electric appliances. In contrast, agricultural exports showed declines because of natural disasters and high competition in the global markets.

Looking ahead, export growth is forecast to slow down in 2026 owing to impacts of US tax measures and changes in global trade regulations amidst geographical conflicts. However, Thai exports are supported by rising demands in technology, AI, and food security concerns. In addition, the new Free Trade Agreement (FTA) benefits—set to take effect this year—will offer further opportunities for Thai exporters.
