The Tourism Authority of Thailand presents "The Night by Amazing Thailand: Traces of Silk in the Moonlight—The Art of the Land in Memory under the Royal Radiance," a cultural event honoring Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, The Queen Mother. The event runs through 7 February at Lumphini Park, Bangkok, from 16:00 to 21:30 daily.
This nighttime celebration features artistic performances and exhibitions showcasing Thai culture, craftsmanship, and creative expression in a central public space accessible to all.
Highlights include:
∙"The Moonlight Concert: Traces of Silk in the Moonlight" – A unique jazz-orchestra collaboration featuring leading Thai artists Koh Mr. Saxman & The Sound of Siam alongside the Thai Symphony Orchestra.
∙Khon-in-Jazz Performance – A captivating fusion of traditional Thai masked dance with contemporary music.
∙"IMMERSIVE BOX: The Light of Royal Grace" – A digital visual art installation honoring Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, The Queen Mother.
∙Traditional Craft Exhibitions and Workshops – Hands-on experiences showcasing creations from SUPPORT Foundation Arts and Crafts Centers, including embroidery, silk weaving, traditional textiles, Khon costume craftsmanship, bamboo and Lepironia grass weaving, ceramics, artificial flower making, and glassblowing.
