🔹Thailand Confirms Normal Oil Stocks, Tightens Fuel Controls, Rolls Out Cost Relief Measures, and Assists 1,501 Nationals from Risk Areas

∙ Energy Supply and Oil Stock Monitoring
Authorities confirmed that national oil reserves and depot operations remain normal, with no irregularities detected. Inspections across 7 provinces found that fuel distribution and stock levels are functioning as expected, while major depots continue operating at full capacity to meet rising demand. Fuel shortages at service stations are gradually easing, and incoming oil shipments remain sufficient to support domestic consumption.

∙ Fuel Transport Control and Consumption Trends
The Government has tightened monitoring of fuel transport nationwide, requiring all depots to report stock movements, delivery destinations, and transport details daily. Current fuel consumption remains high, with diesel averaging over 86 million litres per day and gasoline around 35 million litres. A digital system is also being developed to allow real-time tracking of fuel availability at service stations for public access in the near future.

∙ Cost of Living and Price Control Measures
The Ministry of Commerce is preparing six key measures to ease cost-of-living pressures, including the launch of the “Thai Helping Thai” campaign on 1 April, offering discounts of up to 25–50% on essential goods. Price controls will be expanded, stricter penalties enforced for overpricing and hoarding, and nationwide subsidy programmes such as Blue Flag and Green Flag Plus will continue to support consumers and farmers.

∙ Situation in the Middle East and Assistance to Thai Nationals
The situation in the Middle East remains volatile despite temporary de-escalation signals. Thai nationals are strongly advised to leave high-risk areas as soon as possible. Progress continues in assisting affected citizens, including ongoing rescue efforts for three Thai crew members and the repatriation of a deceased Thai worker from Israel. To date, a total of 1,501 Thai nationals have been assisted in returning to Thailand or relocating to safer areas.
