Thailand Opens a Fast Lane Through Customs for Wine Lovers

Thailand's Excise Department has officially launched the "Wine Fast Track" system, a new digital platform designed to make it quicker and easier for international passengers to bring wine into the country.

Currently available at Suvarnabhumi and Don Mueang international airports.

HERE'S WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

✅ Bringing 1 liter or less of alcohol? You're exempt from tax — head straight through the Green Channel (Nothing to Declare). No fuss!

✅ Bringing more than 1 liter but no more than 10 liters of wine (as samples or for personal, non-commercial use)? The Wine Fast Track system is for you.

Before you reach customs, simply:
1.Visit www.excise.go.th or https://winefasttrack.excise.go.th — or use the Android app (iOS coming soon)
2. Enter your wine details and get an instant breakdown of applicable taxes and duties
3. Confirm your declaration in advance
4. Head to the Red Channel (Goods to Declare) to complete payment and collect your official excise tax stamps to affix to each bottle

⚠️ Reminder: Bringing more than 10 liters of alcohol is not permitted under personal import rules.

This new system means less paperwork, faster processing, and full transparency. So you can get to enjoying Thailand sooner!
